About the Real Teachr

Hey! My name is Ashley, and I'm a real teacher!  I have 14 years of teaching experience in Middle School and Elementary classrooms.  I've taught: Spanish, Reading Intervention, Gifted and Talented, and I've been a 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Classroom Teacher.  I've enjoyed everything I've taught and I love teaching!

I started this blog to help other teachers, like myself, with freebies, tips and tricks that I've learned over the last 14 years in my classroom.  After a long hiatus away from the blog, I'm looking to jump back in with renewed spirit!   I hope that this blog will save some headaches, frustration, time and money for my fellow teacher friends old and new!

I love helping others and sharing my knowledge.  While I think I will never "get there" in being the best teacher (I always feel like I can learn more and be even better), I have learned a lot along the way.
